ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Patient Support:

• Assist in preparing patients for dialysis by helping with weighing, positioning, and comfort.

• Accompanying patients safely in and out of the treatment area.

• Support patients with basic hygiene and grooming as needed.

• Assist Medical Executive/PIC in setting up bloodlines, dialysers and priming.

• Observe and report any unusual patient behavior or discomfort to the clinical team promptly.

Environmental Hygiene:

• Clean and disinfect dialysis stations, chairs, and trolleys before and after each session.

• Ensure all work surfaces, floors, and equipment are sanitized in accordance with MOH infection control standards.

• Adhere strictly to hygiene protocols to minimize infection risks and support a safe clinical environment

• Dispose of clinical waste and sharps safely as per regulatory guidelines.

Equipment Handling Support:

• Assist in the routine cleaning of dialysis machines, RO room, and storage areas.

• Refill consumables such as dialysate, gloves, PPE, and disinfectants at nursing stations.

• Report any equipment faults or supply shortages to the Person-in-Charge.

Logistics & Inventory:

• Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing medical supplies and consumables.

• Perform basic inventory checks and assist in stock rotation to ensure proper usage and reduce waste.

Team Support:

• Work collaboratively with nurses and other staff to ensure smooth centre operations.

Participate in internal training, fire drills, and infection control briefings.
