Job Description

• Serve as the overall planner for all ongoing projects within the shop, ensuring efficient coordination and timely execution of tasks.

• Identify critical jobs and activities within the project timeline to prioritize resources and avoid delays.

• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules to ensure alignment with project goals and deadlines.

• Collaborate with project managers, production teams, and other stakeholders to resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure smooth project progression.

• Analyze project performance data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and company policies during planning and execution. -Prepare progress reports, presentations, and updates for management and clients as required.

• Coordinate with the Production Manager on resource allocation, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to optimize productivity.

• Maintain accurate documentation related to project planning, schedules, and changes.

• Coordinate with the Project PIC/Engineer on progress report preparation, including the coordination of presentations and updates for management and clients as required.

• Perform other duties as assigned or required to support project goals.

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, Mechanical, Project Management or a related discipline

2. Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering project planning or project coordination within the process engineering, manufacturing or industrial sectors

3. Strong knowledge of project planning methodologies, including critical path analysis, resource levelling and earned value management

4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
