About the role

Kumnara Holding Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Mine Engineer to join our team in Gua Musang, Kelantan. As a Mine Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our mining operations. What you'll be doing

• Designing and implementing mining plans to optimise production, safety, and environmental impact

• Conducting geological surveys and analysing data to identify and assess mineral deposits

• Overseeing the operation and maintenance of mining equipment and infrastructure

• Developing and implementing safety protocols to protect workers and minimise risks

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and drive continuous improvement

• Ensuring compliance with relevant mining regulations and industry best practices

• Providing technical guidance and support to the mining crew

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field

• At least 5 years of experience as a Mine Engineer in the mining industry

• Strong technical knowledge of mining processes, equipment, and technologies

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team

• Proficiency in project management and data analysis

• Willing to stay and work in remote areas (camp site environment).
