Position          : Purchasing Executive
Department   : Procurement
Reports to      : Procurement Manager
Location         : Shah Alam 

Bidfood Malaysia is one of the leading distributor serving the foodservice and retail industry. We are looking for a Purchasing Executive to support our daily procurement activities, purchase order processing, supplier coordination, and procurement data maintenance to ensure smooth supply of goods for business operations.

What You’ll Do

• Process, generate, validate, and maintain SAP Purchase Orders according to business requirements.

• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams on order status, quotations, delivery schedules, and pending goods.

• Maintain procurement-related data, supplier information, quotations, and records in SAP and other procurement tools.

• Support the Procurement Manager in price comparison, price monitoring, supplier follow-up, and budget-related information.

• Assist in monitoring supplier performance, delivery delays, procurement risks, and ensure proper documentation is maintained.  

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must Have

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or related field.

• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or administrative support are encouraged to apply.

• Good attention to detail, especially in data entry, purchase orders, quotations, and documentation.

• Able to communicate and coordinate with suppliers, internal departments, and team members.

• Willing to learn, responsible, organised, and able to follow up on tasks within deadlines.

 Good to Have

• Experience using SAP or any purchasing/procurement system.

• Basic understanding of purchase orders, supplier quotations, pricing, and delivery follow-up.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Interest in foodservice, FMCG, distribution, or supply chain industry.
