Zen Ent is looking for a passionate and skilled Baker to join our culinary team at our unique glamping and hospitality destination in Puchong, Selangor. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to create high-quality breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts that enhance our guests' dining experience. As part of our growing hospitality team, you will play a key role in maintaining exceptional product quality, consistency, and food safety while contributing to memorable guest experiences in a vibrant outdoor and nature-inspired environment.

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, desserts, and other baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards.

• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, presentation, and overall product quality.

• Measure, mix, proof, shape, and bake ingredients using appropriate baking techniques and equipment.

• Operate, clean, and maintain bakery equipment safely and efficiently.

• Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality throughout the production process.

• Decorate and finish baked products for daily service and special events.

• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and workplace safety in accordance with company SOPs and food safety regulations.

• Manage ingredient stock levels, practice proper stock rotation (FIFO), and minimise food wastage.

• Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations and timely production.

• Assist in developing seasonal bakery items and new menu offerings.

• Support junior kitchen staff when required and perform any other duties assigned by the Company.

• Minimum SPM or equivalent; Certificate or Diploma in Baking, Pastry, Culinary Arts, or a related field is an advantage.

• At least 1 year of baking experience in a bakery, café, hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.

• Fresh graduates with strong baking skills are encouraged to apply.

• Good knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety standards.

• Familiar with commercial bakery equipment and kitchen operations.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality baked products.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Good time management and organisational skills.

• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
