About the role

We are seeking a driven and talented Business Development Executive to join our team at ZW Packaging Sdn Bhd in Perai, Penang. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for cultivating new business opportunities and driving growth for our dynamic packaging solutions company.

What you'll be doing

• Identifying and pursuing new sales leads through cold calling, networking, and leveraging your industry connections

• Conducting market research to understand customer needs and develop tailored sales proposals

• Arranging and leading meetings with potential clients to pitch our products and services

• Negotiating contract terms and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets

• Maintaining detailed records of all sales activities and pipeline progress

• Collaborating cross-functionally with our marketing, operations, and customer service teams

• Contributing to the development of our sales and growth strategies

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within the packaging or manufacturing industry

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers

• Proven track record of successfully generating new business and achieving sales targets

• Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a consultative sales approach

• Proficient in market research, data analysis, and using CRM software

• Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies

• Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
