Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, design, implementation, and successful delivery of integrated township developments comprising landed residential, commercial shop lots, recreational parks, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Oversee project development from feasibility studies, master planning, engineering design, statutory approvals, construction, and project completion.
  • Liaise and build strong working relationships with local authorities, government agencies, utility providers, technical departments, and regulatory bodies to secure timely approvals and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.
  • Lead and coordinate consultants, architects, engineers, surveyors, contractors, and project teams to ensure technical excellence and efficient project execution.
  • Review and optimise township master plans, engineering designs, infrastructure planning, and development layouts to ensure functionality, quality, sustainability, and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor project progress, construction quality, safety, timelines, and technical compliance, while proactively resolving project risks and implementation challenges.
  • Drive value engineering, construction best practices, and innovative technical solutions to improve project quality and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with planning guidelines, development regulations, engineering standards, environmental requirements, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate smooth project implementation, handover, and operational readiness.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary project teams while fostering a culture of technical excellence, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.



Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Town Planning, or a related discipline. Professional registration will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in property development, with at least 5 years in a senior management role leading integrated township or large-scale mixed development projects.
  • Proven track record in delivering landed residential, commercial, infrastructure, and township developments from planning, statutory approvals, construction, to project completion.
  • Strong experience in liaising and negotiating with local authorities, government agencies, utility providers, and regulatory bodies, with thorough knowledge of Malaysian development regulations and approval processes.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and technical project management capabilities, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors while driving project delivery and resolving technical challenges.
