Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Interior Designer will translate brand guidelines into practical store designs, creating functional, attractive layouts and customer-centric interior concepts for new outlets and refurbishments. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing floor plans, 3D visuals, and technical drawings; selecting materials, finishes, lighting, and furnishings that reflect the Boost brand and support operational efficiency. The role involves coordinating with operations, marketing, procurement, and construction teams; managing design documentation; and supporting project timelines and budgets. The Interior Designer will visit sites for measurements and inspections, ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards, and continuously refine design standards to enhance customer experience and store performance.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong interior design skills, including space planning, concept development, and store layout design.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar 3D visualization tools).
• Candidates should possess knowledge of materials, finishes, lighting, and color theory relevant to retail and F&B environments.
• Candidates should possess project coordination abilities, including scheduling, documentation, and collaboration with contractors and vendors.
• Candidates should possess attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to balance aesthetics with operational practicality.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, along with experience in retail or hospitality design.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment are essential.
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainable design practices will be an advantage.
