Tanggungjawab

We are seeking a skilled Data Migration ETL Developer to design, develop, and implement ETL processes that support seamless data migration across systems. The role involves working closely with business analysts, database administrators, and project managers to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and performance during migration initiatives.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design & Development
  • Build, test, and maintain ETL pipelines for data migration projects.
  • Develop scripts and workflows to extract, transform, and load data from legacy systems to target platforms.
  • Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability.
  • Data Migration Execution
  • Perform data mapping, cleansing, and validation to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct trial migrations and reconcile data between source and target systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data quality or transformation issues.
  • Collaboration & Documentation
  • Work with stakeholders to gather migration requirements.
  • Document ETL processes, data dictionaries, and migration strategies.
  • Provide technical support during migration cutovers and post-migration audits.
  • Quality Assurance
  • Implement data validation checks and reconciliation reports.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards.

Requirements

  • Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in ETL development and data migration projects.
  • Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage).
  • Strong SQL skills for querying, data profiling, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and data warehouses.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Pay: Up to RM12,500.00 per month
