Position: Procurement Executive

Location: Putrajaya (HQ) / Project Sites as required
Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract

Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to support procurement and contract administration activities for construction and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials and services, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring timely procurement processes, and supporting overall project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and quality services.
  • Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and related procurement documentation.
  • Monitor material delivery schedules and ensure timely supply of materials and equipment to project sites.
  • Coordinate with project teams, site personnel, and relevant departments regarding procurement requirements.
  • Maintain supplier databases and establish good relationships with vendors and service providers.
  • Compare quotations and prepare cost analysis reports for management review and approval.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate purchasing requirements when necessary.
  • Verify invoices, delivery orders, and supporting documents before submission for payment processing.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Support tender-related activities and contract administration as required.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Quantity Surveying, Procurement, or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within construction, civil engineering, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and procurement systems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation management.

Language:

  • Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English (written and spoken).

Other Requirements:

  • Willing to travel to project sites if required.
  • Possess a valid driving license.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced project environment.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Putrajaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • CIDB (Required)

Work Location: In person
