Site Supervisor
Role Overview
Benten Construction is looking for an experienced, hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee daily on-site activities. Your main job will be to manage sub-contractors, ensure workers follow safety rules, and keep construction progress strictly on schedule according to our architectural and interior design structural drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Site Supervision: Monitor daily work progress on-site to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with approved structural/architectural drawings.
- Sub-Contractor Management: Coordinate daily schedules for sub-contractors and workers, ensuring there are no delays or idle manpower on site.
- Material Control: Receive, check, and record incoming construction materials (and ID materials) to ensure correct quantity and quality. Prevent material wastage or theft on site.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Enforce safety regulations (DOSH/CIDB guidelines) on site. Ensure the workplace is kept safe, organized, and clean.
- Reporting: Document and report daily site progress, issues, and manpower counts to the Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager.
Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of working experience as a Site Supervisor in building construction or major renovation projects.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret construction, structural, and M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) blueprints/drawings accurately.
- Language: Good conversational Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Mobility: Must possess a valid driving license (D or B2) and own transport to travel to project sites.
- Traits: Strong problem-solving skills on-site, firm leadership qualities to manage workers, and a highly responsible attitude.
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
