About the Role
We are looking for an ELV Engineer to support the operation, monitoring, maintenance, and enhancement of critical ELV systems within a data centre environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with monitoring platforms such as SCADA, Building Automation (BA/BAS), Building Management Systems (BMS), EMS, or CPOS, complemented by strong IT infrastructure knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot ELV monitoring systems including SCADA, BA/BMS, EMS, CPOS, CCTV, Access Control, DCIM, and other critical facility systems.
- Ensure the reliability and availability of ELV and monitoring systems supporting 24/7 data centre operations.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, workstations, network switches, firewalls, and related IT infrastructure supporting ELV platforms.
- Perform system upgrades, preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and incident resolution.
- Support project deployment, system integration, testing & commissioning (T&C), and infrastructure upgrades.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, and as-built documentation.
- Support capacity planning, asset management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures, security standards, and industry best practices.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers to support operational requirements and project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in ELV systems, Building Automation, Industrial Automation, Data Centres, or Critical Facilities.
- Experience in network and IT operations, data centre project deployment, commissioning (T&C), and infrastructure design.
- Strong understanding of data centre technologies, security, compliance standards, and system administration.
