Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Puchong for a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer. The role involves programming CMM equipment to perform precise dimensional inspections of mechanical and stamped components, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The CMM Programmer will set up and operate measuring equipment, validate measurement programs, and document inspection results for production and quality teams. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting technical drawings and GD&T, supporting root cause analysis for nonconformities, collaborating with engineering and production on quality improvements, and maintaining calibration and accuracy of measurement tools. The role also requires adherence to safety procedures and continuous enhancement of measurement methods and inspection workflows.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong experience with measurement tools and techniques, including Measurements and Calibration.
• Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control and Inspection for manufactured parts and assemblies.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with Gauges and related precision measuring instruments.
• Candidates should possess the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
• Candidates should possess practical experience in programming and operating CMM equipment (e.g., Zeiss, Mitutoyo, Hexagon or similar), or other coordinate-based measuring systems.
• Candidates should possess good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
• Candidates should possess effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams.
• A technical certificate, diploma, or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred; relevant equivalent experience will also be considered.
• Experience in metal stamping, automotive components, or precision manufacturing environments will be an advantage.
