Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Johor Baharu. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), assisting in cost estimation and tender documentation, and supporting contract administration. Daily tasks include monitoring project costs, verifying progress claims and variations, preparing cost reports, and liaising with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate financial and quantity records. The role also involves supporting cost planning at different project stages and providing input to support commercial decisions and project budgeting.

Qualifications
- Strong cost management capabilities, including Cost Control and Cost Management skills, to ensure projects remain within budget.
- Proficiency in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting to support project forecasting, monitoring, and financial analysis.
- Hands-on experience with BOQ preparation, measurement, and verification for tenders, contracts, and progress claims.
- Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with construction contracts, tender processes, and standard forms of measurement.
- Good numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work on-site in Johor Baharu, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Relevant work experience in civil, mechanical, or electrical projects is an advantage.
