Job Description — HR Executive

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain HR documentation, including employee records, employment contracts, and benefits administration.
• Maintain and update employment contract templates to ensure compliance with the Employment Act 1955.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely salary disbursement.
• Process monthly statutory contributions including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB. Ensure timely submission to relevant authorities.
• Manage attendance, shift scheduling, leave management, and OT computation for a multi-branch, 24/7 operation.
• Handle recruitment activities, including job postings, interview coordination, and onboarding of new hires.
• Prepare offer letters, negotiate salaries, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
• Identify and coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee capabilities.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures.
• Support employee engagement activities and welfare programs.
• Assist in performance appraisal processes and disciplinary matters when required.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and HR best practices.
• Prepare periodic HR reports and assist in audits.
• Work with department heads to understand workforce needs and plan manpower requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years in a generalist HR role with hands-on payroll experience preferred. Exceptionally driven candidates with less experience may be considered.
• Solid understanding of Malaysian employment laws and statutory regulations.
• Experience with Infotech HR System or similar cloud-based payroll systems preferred.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Mature, self-driven, disciplined, and reliable with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Familiarity with healthcare or clinic operations is an advantage.
