The Storekeeper is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and inventory operations at Arrow Components Sdn Bhd. This role ensures the efficient receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of electronic components and products . The ideal candidate will maintain organized work areas, operate material handling equipment, and contribute to achieving quality and production goals in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment .

Key Responsibilities1. Warehouse Operations

  • Manage labor distribution and workflow to meet quality and production goals .
  • Support specific warehouse functions such as shipping and receiving .
  • Perform general warehouse tasks including receiving, sorting, labeling cargo, executing putaway, picking, packing, loading, and unloading cargo .

2. Inventory Management

  • Maintain organized work and product storage areas .
  • Perform stock / cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy .
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies to supervisors .

3. Material Handling

  • Transport and stage products within the warehouse .
  • Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) for putaway and picking tasks .
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of electronic components to prevent damage.

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Update reports and monitor output efficiency .
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Update inventory data in warehouse management systems.

5. Workplace Safety & Housekeeping

  • Maintain housekeeping and safety at the working environment .
  • Achieve and maintain 6S concepts: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety .
  • Comply with Workplace Safety & Health Rules and Regulations .

6. Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, logistics, procurement) for smooth workflow.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders including vendors and freight forwarders as needed.
  • Order coordination liaising with internal and external stakeholders .

Key RequirementsEducation

  • Minimum SPM, Certificate, or Diploma graduate .

Experience

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience working in electronics manufacturing industry or warehouse .
  • Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may be considered .

Technical Skills

  • Basic computer skills to execute ERP / WMS system transactions .
  • Experience with warehouse management systems is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of electronic components is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift and carry weights up to 20 kgs .
  • Physically fit for standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift .

Soft Skills

  • Good working attitude and strong attention to detail .
  • Willing to work overtime when required .
  • Responsible, organized, and detail-oriented .
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Language

  • Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English (spoken and written).

Forklift License (Added Advantage)

  • Forklift license is a plus – candidates with a valid forklift operating license will have an added advantage

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,800.00 per month

Work Location: In person
