Job Responsibilities

Staff Supervision:

• Supervise and support the front-of-house team, including waiters, bussers, and hosts.
• Assist in training new employees and providing ongoing training to existing staff.
• Assign tasks and monitor staff performance to ensure high service standards.

Customer Service:

• Greet and welcome guests, ensuring they receive prompt and courteous service.
• Address and resolve guest complaints and special requests efficiently and professionally.
• Ensure guests have an excellent dining experience by maintaining high service standards.

Operational Oversight:

• Oversee the dining area operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and smooth workflow.
• Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
• Monitor dining room activities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.

Table Management:

• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure tables are cleared and reset promptly after guests leave.

Quality Control:

• Ensure all food and beverages meet quality and presentation standards before being served to guests.
• Conduct regular inspections of the dining area, restrooms, and service stations to ensure cleanliness and orderliness.

Inventory and Supplies:

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of front-of-house supplies.
• Coordinate with management to order necessary supplies and equipment.

Communication and Coordination:

• Act as a liaison between front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to address any issues or concerns.

Financial Responsibilities:

• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring proper handling of payments.
• Assist in end-of-day financial reporting and reconciliation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
