About Us

We are a startup building AI solutions with our custom stack. With a small team and moving fast,

AI is core to what we are building. We are looking for a contractor who can plug in quickly, own

real features end-to-end, and ship without a lot of hand-holding.

The Engagement

You will work as an independent contractor building AI-powered features across our stack —

from LLM integrations and prompt design through to backend services and the UI users actually

touch. This is hands-on building, not advisory work. If you like shipping things and working

closely with a founder/small team, this should be a good fit.

We are looking for a senior, self-directed builder who can take a problem, make good decisions,

and turn it into working software. If the engagement goes well, there is room for growth.

What You Will Build

Agentic AI features end-to-end: cloud and self-hosted model integration, agent

optimizing including model selection and prompt tuning, implementations of agentic

constructs (flows, graphs, tool use, structured outputs, etc.), knowledge graphs including

defining them and populating them, backend orchestration, frontend UI.

Backend services that handle LLM calls, vector search, and standard APIs reliably and

cost-effectively.

Frontend interfaces that handle the quirks of AI products (streaming, partial states,

latency, graceful failure).

Evals and feedback loops so we can tell whether a change actually made the product

better.

Who We Are Looking For

Role Requirements

4+ years of professional software experience, with real production work on both backend

and frontend.

Shipped LLM-powered features before — you know what breaks at scale and have

opinions about how to handle it.

Strong with a modern backend stack (Node.js/TypeScript, Python, or similar) and

React/TypeScript on the frontend.

Write code that’s testable and built to scale — sensible architecture, meaningful tests,

and an eye for what’ll break at 10x the load.

Familiar with Postgres and at least one vector store (pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate,

etc.).

Comfortable deploying to a cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Vercel, Fly, Railway —

whatever).

Hands-on with containers (Docker) and container-based deployment; experience with

orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, or similar) is a plus.

Self-directed: you can take a loose problem statement, ask the right questions, and

deliver.

At ease in collaborating with a distributed team — strong written communication,

proactive updates, and good async habits.

Internet: Must have a high-speed, reliable internet connection.

Availability: Ready to start immediately.

Nice to Have

Prior startup experience, especially as an early engineer or technical co-founder.

Background with agent frameworks, RAG at scale, or fine-tuning.

Open-source work or demos you can point to.

Familiarity with defence, finance sectors

How We Work

Async-first, with [1–2 short syncs per week] for alignment.

Ship small, ship often — short feedback loops over big plans.

Direct communication; we expect pushback when you disagree.

You own what you build, including the rough edges.

Work Schedule & Compensation

Type: Full-time, Long-term.

Hours: 8 hours per day, Monday – Friday.

Location: 100% Remote.

Tools: Use of Hubstaff is required for time tracking and attendance.
