We're looking for an Application Technical Lead with experience in AWS and Java to drive application refresh and modernization initiatives. You'll lead the design and delivery of cloud-native solutions using Java and Microservices, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and build scalable, secure applications. Experience in AWS, Java, and the banking industry is highly preferred. 
 
Key Responsibilities 

1. Lead the development, and implementation of enterprise applications on AWS, providing technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. 

2. Provide technical leadership for application modernization and IT Application Technology Refresh projects 

3. Collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and vendors to resolve technical issues, assess change impacts, and ensure successful project delivery. 

4. Support SIT/UAT activities, perform design, code, and testing reviews, and provide technical troubleshooting to ensure solution quality and stability. 

Job Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. 

• 3-5 years of experience in software development or technical leadership roles. 

• Proven expertise in AWS services and core AWS technologies 

• Hands-on experience in Java and API development. 

• Experience leading or supporting application refresh projects  

• Experience in the banking or financial services industry is preferred. 

• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies. 

• Strong stakeholder, vendor, and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. 

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
