STORAGE MANAGER – JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS

Position

Storage Manager (Storekeeper)

Job Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and record all incoming goods and deliveries.

Verify quantities and product quality against purchase orders and invoices.

Organize and store inventory using the FIFO (First In, First Out) principle.

Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate inventory is maintained.

Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and prepare inventory reports.

Issue ingredients, beverages, packaging, and supplies to outlets according to approved requests.

Monitor expiry dates and remove damaged or expired items immediately.

Maintain accurate inventory records using the company’s inventory system.

Coordinate with the purchasing team regarding stock shortages and replenishment.

Ensure the storeroom, chiller, and freezer are clean, organized, and comply with food safety standards.

Minimize stock loss, wastage, and discrepancies through proper inventory control.

Supervise the loading, unloading, and proper handling of goods.

Support management with inventory analysis and cost-control initiatives.

Job Requirements

Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, or storeroom management, preferably in the F&B industry.

Good knowledge of inventory control, stock management, and FIFO procedures.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Able to use Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.

Accurate, detail-oriented, and responsible.

Honest, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidential inventory records.

Physically fit and able to lift and move stock when required.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and flexible shifts when required.
