  • Ensure the delivery of high‑quality performance and power data aligned with program goals.

  • Drive Program Status Updates for performance and power to Product Development team and other stakeholders.

Technical Depth & Debug

  • Perform in‑depth performance analysis and root‑cause debug, developing strong understanding of firmware behaviors, state machines, and hardware interactions.

  • Identify performance risks early and work with FW, Arch, and System teams to drive mitigations.

  • Represent performance perspective in Product Change Request scoping and lead change implementation on the program.

Planning & Infrastructure

  • Plan and forecast infrastructure and development needs required to support program execution.

  • Ensure appropriate performance test levels are applied per program phase and customer requirements to ensure optimal path to performance maturity.

Multi-functional Leadership

  • Actively collaborate with Firmware, Architecture, Systems, QA, and PDT to deliver optimized performance and power.

  • Drive process alignment at the program site with the overall DC SSD Performance Test Strategy.

  • Participate in internal engineering forums, sharing standard processes and aligning execution across geographies

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify gaps in performance methods, coverage, or tooling and propose improvements.

  •  Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
    • Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

  • Strong background in SSD performance and power characterization.

  • Hands‑on experience with data analysis, workload execution, and performance debug.

  • Solid understanding of firmware–hardware interactions affecting latency, bandwidth, and power.

  • Ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly to internal and external partners.

  •  Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role‑appropriate AI literacy to use AI‑enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem‑solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes
