Tech Sales Engineer / Tech Sales Manager

Purpose

Drive business growth in the Malaysia by developing new customers, managing key accounts, and providing technical sales support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business and expand existing accounts.
  • Identify opportunities in Battery, EV, BESS, Renewable Energy, Electronics, and Industrial sectors.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and negotiate commercial terms.
  • Conduct customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Recommend suitable technical solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers on quotations, technical issues, and project execution.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, forecasts, and CRM updates.
  • Support exhibitions, seminars, and marketing activities.
  • Achieve sales targets and maintain customer satisfaction.

KPIs

  • Sales revenue and gross profit.
  • New customer acquisition.
  • Pipeline growth and conversion rate.
  • Customer retention.
  • Forecast accuracy.
  • CRM discipline.
  • Customer visit frequency.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of technical B2B sales experience.
  • Knowledge of test and measurement, power electronics, batteries, or industrial equipment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Willing to travel across Malaysia.
