Role Description The Intern – HR Admin role is an internship position based in Kuala Lumpur with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site work with flexibility to work from home. The intern supports the Human Resources team with administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, preparing HR documentation, and updating HR databases. Daily responsibilities may include assisting with onboarding activities, coordinating interviews, managing HR correspondence, and supporting employee engagement initiatives. The intern will also help respond to employee and stakeholder inquiries, contribute to HR reports, and collaborate with team members on process improvements. This role offers exposure to a professional shared services environment and an opportunity to learn HR operations in a global organization.
Qualifications
Candidates with 6 month internship period are encouraged to apply - Foundational knowledge or academic background in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with interest in HR administration and processes.
- Strong Communication and Employee Relations skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees and stakeholders at different levels.
- Customer Service mindset, demonstrating responsiveness, empathy, and a solution-oriented approach when handling inquiries and requests.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in documentation, data entry, and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and willingness to learn HR systems or platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, adapt to a hybrid work environment, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
