Join a growing premium retail business with an integrated café, artisan bakery and wholesale division. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead finance reporting and provide insights to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Bridging & Software Reconciliation (Panda to AutoCount)

Extract daily/weekly transactional, sales, and purchasing data from Panda ERP.

Clean, format, and map raw CSV data in MS Excel to match AutoCount import layouts.

Execute manual CSV batch uploads into AutoCount, ensuring zero data loss or duplication.

Troubleshoot import errors, identify data anomalies, and maintain log files.

2. Retail Inventory Costing & Auditing

Manage stock valuation, tracking, and costing methods (FIFO/Weighted Average) within AutoCount.

Perform gross margin analysis by product category, SKU, and retail store location.

Investigate inventory variances, shrinkage, wastage, and unmapped stock codes between the two systems.

Coordinate and audit periodic physical stock counts at retail outlets; reconcile variances against ledger books.

3. Management Accounting & Reporting

Prepare full sets of accounts and timely monthly management reporting packs (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

Utilize AutoCount project/department features to deliver localized performance reports for each retail branch.

Provide variance analysis comparing actual performance against budgets to highlight cost-saving opportunities.

Need to do Cash Flow Forecast and manage

Prepare annual budgets and monitor actual performance against budgeted targets.

What We Are Looking For:

Qualifications: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA / CIMA / CPA / MIA).

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in Retail, F&B, or High-Volume transactional environments (Candidates from Hospital/Healthcare backgrounds with strong sub-ledger experience are highly encouraged to apply).

Software Skills:

Hands-on proficiency with AutoCount Accounting Software is a strict requirement.

Experience with Panda ERP or equivalent retail POS/inventory backend systems.

 Advanced MS Excel Skills:

Must be highly proficient with XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IFERROR, text-to-columns formatting, and data cleansing techniques.

Attributes:

Exceptional eye for detail, strong analytical logic, and the ability to work independently with raw, unstructured database files.

Salary Range: RM 8,000 – RM 11,000 per month
