Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and supervise electrical engineering works for construction projects.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities.
• Monitor site progress to ensure work is completed according to project specifications, quality standards, and schedule.
• Prepare project schedules, technical reports, and progress reports.
• Assist in preparing and verifying monthly progress claims and supporting documentation.
• Ensure timely submission of project documentation and progress claims.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support to the project team.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate project activities with other disciplines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Malaysian electrical standards and construction practices.
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (knowledge of Revit is an added advantage).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Possession of a valid driving licence is an advantage.
