Technical Business Analyst

Location: Changi Business Park

Contract: 12 months (renewable)

Role Summary:

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will participate in the full software development life cycle using Agile methodologies, from project initiation through implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, and post-implementation review. You will work closely with business users, vendors, and technical teams to deliver banking technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, clients, and vendors.

• Lead design thinking sessions and requirements gathering workshops.

• Analyze business requirements and assess implementation feasibility.

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and technical solutions.

• Communicate requirements to development teams and ensure successful delivery.

• Support solution and application design; contribute to architecture discussions (preferred).

• Prepare documentation including BRD/FRD, design specifications, data migration, interfaces, and infrastructure requirements.

• Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions.

• Prepare test plans and test cases, and support SIT/UAT activities.

• Perform functional and backend testing, review logs, and resolve issues.

• Conduct change impact analysis and support change management.

• Collaborate with local and offshore teams throughout project delivery.

• Support pre-sales activities by preparing solution proposals.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering.

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst.

• Mandatory banking domain experience.

• Experience with Agile/SDLC methodologies.

• Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills.

• Experience with SQL, JIRA, and testing (SIT/UAT/Functional/Backend).

• Knowledge of data mapping and backend log analysis.

• Exposure to Java application environments is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

• Ability to work under tight timelines and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
