JOB PURPOSE:

  • Support the planning processes, perform data collection, analysis, report preparation, and the tracking of key performance indicators, contributing to strategic planning and alignment for informed decision making.
  • Support the development of robust commercial assurance by performing project financial data gathering, analysis and reporting to support economics and accounting assessments.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:


Commercial Assessment

  • Conduct commercial risk assessments and strategic alignments reviews by gathering data, performing analysis, and providing input to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
  • Implement commercial assurance and strategic fitness evaluation frameworks.


Strategic Planning & Performance Monitoring

  • Analyze industry data and market intelligence to support the development of business plans and strategic initiatives.
  • Implement and track strategic plans and initiatives to ensure organizational goals are achieved. Contribute to the development and monitoring of Balanced Scorecards and Risk Scorecards by providing data and supporting the identification of deviations and potential risks.
  • Perform post-implementation assessments to monitor project financial performance and identify lessons learned.


Project Economics & Risk Management

  • Conduct project financial data gathering, analysis and reporting to support economics and accounting assessments.
  • Analyze financial analyses and models to identify critical drivers and potential risks.
  • Conduct risk assessments, track mitigation activities, and support risk reporting processes to facilitate the implementations of risk management programs.
  • Conduct periodic financial risk assessments on stakeholders.


Governance & Assurance

  • Manage data input, user support, and tracking for the roll-out of MISC corporate governance policies and guidelines and PETRONAS governance and assurance systems (e.g. myGovernance, myAssurance).
  • Contribute to assessments of governance documents and practices and support the implementation of assurance activities.


REQUIREMENT & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience in finance, business or project with at least 2 years of specific experience in project management, strategic planning or risk management.
  • Minimum a bachelor's degree in accounting, business, engineering or equivalent.
