The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, inbound and outbound inspection, and adherence to SOPs. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of inventory processes, supervises team performance, and supports the Warehouse Manager in achieving operational efficiency. The Supervisor must ensure that goods are handled with care, and all customer requirements are met promptly and accurately within the contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure the accuracy of unloading, put-away, and picking processes by verifying against delivery documents and physical stock.
- Monitor and inspect stock conditions to ensure they are free from damages or abnormalities before put-away or dispatch.
- Oversee daily inventory movements and ensure all updates are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure the team adheres strictly to all SOPs and operational guidelines.
- Support the Senior Warehouse Manager in maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy and process efficiency.
- Train, guide, and motivate team members to meet performance expectations and job deadlines.
- Conduct regular checks and follow-ups to ensure all assignments are completed as scheduled.
- Promote and maintain a safe, secure, and clean working environment.
- Lead by example in discipline, punctuality, and compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Report regularly on team and process performance to immediate superior.
- Recommend and implement improvements to optimize warehouse operations and reduce costs.
- Ensure all Freight Mark assets and customer goods are handled responsibly and maintained in good condition.
- Participate actively in improvement programs and staff training sessions.
- Assist in employee appraisals and performance evaluations for team members.
Requirements
- Minimum SPM or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in warehouse, logistics, or administrative roles
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications
