Job Description;

1. To lead the commissioning, shifting and qualification activity for new equipment and machines to production, including keeping a record of all necessary documents.

2. To plan and prepare a preventive maintenance schedule for new/existing equipment and machines, to ensure smooth operation and maintainability.

3. To ensure all the PM schedule is executed accordingly and breakdown repair is completed within the budgeted time frame to minimize production downtime.

4. Work closely with Quality and Production teams during process issues and line stoppages.

5. Troubleshooting equipment breakdown, conducting an in-depth investigation and solving maintenance-related problems.

6. To plan, raise an order and maintain materials and spare parts inventory for production operations.

7. Plan and execute scheduled blade replacements to prevent quality defects, wire damage, and unplanned downtime. Maintain accurate blade change records, including date, machine number, wire size, terminal type, and reason for replacement.

8. To coordinate with suppliers for repair, calibration, and technical support when required.

9. To organize a weekly and monthly meeting to summarize the performance of machine MTBF, MTTR, and OEE reports, as well as implement corrective actions and improvements.

10. Provide guidance, technical support and adequate tooling for subordinates to ensure task completion on time.

11. Identify potential machine failures and process risks in cutting and crimping operations before they affect production. Regularly update and enhance maintenance SOPs, checklists, and technical documentation.

12. Train and monitor the skills of the maintenance team while providing technical support and training for maintenance technicians and machine operators.

13. Maintain accurate maintenance records, breakdown reports, and PM checklists.

14. Support audits (internal, customer, ISO/IATF) related to equipment and maintenance systems.

15. Identify opportunities to improve machine efficiency, uptime, and maintenance cost.

16. Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the HOD from time to time.

17. Support kaizen and continuous improvement activities related to wire processing equipment.

18. Support equipment modification, relocation, and improvement projects using AutoCAD drawings.

Requirement;

1. Possess at Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.

2. Familiar with wire harness crimping standards and quality requirements.

3. Proficient in AutoCAD for layout and basic mechanical drawings.

4. At least 2 years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

5. Knowledgeable in mechanical & electrical.

Knowledgeable in computer software and the ability to read/interpret electrical schematic diagrams.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
