HR Assistant (Payroll)- Ulu Tiram

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in monthly payroll processing for permanent, contract, and shift-based employees
• Compile and verify attendance, overtime, shift allowance, and leave records
• Prepare payroll data for review by HR Executive / HR Manager
• Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies and employee salary inquiries
• Maintain payroll files, records, and documentation accurately
• Assist in preparation and submission of statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB)
• Support payroll-related audits and inspections
• Ensure payroll records comply with company policies and labour regulations
• Maintain and update employee personal data, payroll changes, and filing systems
• Assist with onboarding documentation and payroll setup for new hires
• Support offboarding processes including final salary calculations
• Coordinate with Finance and Operations on payroll-related matters
• Prepare basic payroll reports and summaries
• Ensure confidentiality and data accuracy in HR systems
• Support month-end payroll closing activities
• Assist HR team in daily administrative tasks and HR projects
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by HR Executive / HR Manager

Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
• 1–2 years of experience in payroll or HR administration preferred
• Fresh graduates with payroll internship exposure are encouraged to apply
• Basic knowledge of payroll processes and Malaysian statutory requirements
• Proficient in MS Excel and basic payroll / HR systems
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to handle confidential information professionally
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in manufacturing or factory environment
• Familiar with shift work, overtime, and attendance systems
• Willing to learn and support continuous HR process improvement

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
