Job Description & Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabrication and Installation: Cut and bend rebar to precise specifications using hand tools or machinery.
• Placement: Place, secure, and fasten reinforcing steel in concrete forms using wire, pliers, and other fasteners.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read technical drawings to determine the required shapes, sizes, and locations of rebar.
• Structural Support: Install spacers and supports to ensure proper placement of reinforcing materials.
• Safety Adherence: Strictly follow safety protocols, including wearing protective gear, to manage risks associated with heavy lifting and working at heights. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials and work in demanding weather conditions.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret construction and rebar drawings (e.g., and highlight this need for supervisors).
• Safety Focus: Knowledge of, and compliance with, building codes and safety regulations.
