Role Description This full-time remote Finance Intern role supports the finance function at Insight Genesis – IGAi through data analysis, reporting, and financial documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in the preparation and review of financial statements, supporting accounting entries and reconciliations, and helping maintain accurate financial records. The intern will contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities, perform basic financial modeling or variance analysis, and assist in creating clear finance-related reports and presentations for internal stakeholders. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting research on financial trends relevant to the business, and supporting process improvements in financial operations.

  • Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret quantitative data and identify trends.
  • Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Finance and the ability to support budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis.
  • Candidates should possess familiarity with Financial Statements and an understanding of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Candidates should possess basic Accounting skills, including comfort with journal entries, reconciliations, and record-keeping.
  • Candidates should possess clear Communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a concise, understandable manner.
  • Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial tools (e.g., Excel or similar software) and strong attention to detail are beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with diverse, global teams is important.
