Requirements:


  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of Quantity Surveying (QS) experience, preferably in construction, civil, or landscape projects.
  • Quantity Surveying Expertise: Proven experience in Bill of Quantities (BQ) preparation, tendering, cost estimation, and contract administration.
  • Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of landscape, civil, and construction works, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QS software for costing and measurement.
  • Financial & Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities in cost control, budgeting, and project financial management.
  • Work Independence: Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team with minimal supervision.
  • Communication & Coordination: Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills to support effective project execution.
  • Organization & Time Management: Detail-oriented with excellent documentation, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
  • Mobility & Flexibility: Willing to travel to project sites as required.
  • Physical Requirements: Physically fit and capable of working outdoors under various weather conditions.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage project cost and commercial activities throughout the entire project lifecycle, from planning to completion.
  • Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, and financial plans to ensure effective cost control.
  • Manage Bills of Quantities (BQ), including preparation, review, documentation, and cost administration.
  • Coordinate tender processes, including tender documentation, pricing analysis, bid evaluation, and contractor selection.
  • Administer contracts by ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and project requirements.
  • Review, evaluate, and certify payment claims, including progress claims, subcontractor payments, and related financial documentation.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability, while managing variation orders (VOs), scope changes, and contractual claims.
  • Identify and mitigate project cost risks to support financial performance and successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate with landscape subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring effective procurement and project execution.
  • Apply knowledge of landscape construction, plant materials, and finishes, while demonstrating strong teamwork, communication, and coordination skills.
