Role Description The Senior Planner is a full-time, on-site role based in Gelang Patah, responsible for overseeing production planning and scheduling to ensure optimal use of resources and timely delivery of customer orders. This role coordinates demand forecasts, material availability, and capacity planning, and prepares detailed production plans in alignment with business objectives. The Senior Planner monitors work-in-progress, resolves planning conflicts, and collaborates closely with production, procurement, quality, and logistics teams to address constraints and improve workflow. The role involves analyzing data to identify trends, recommending process improvements, and maintaining accurate planning records and reports for management. The Senior Planner also supports continuous improvement initiatives, contributes to inventory optimization, and helps drive reliable, customer-focused service levels.


Qualifications

  • Strong production planning and scheduling skills, with experience in capacity planning and demand forecasting.
  • Proficiency in SAP/ERP/MRP systems and planning tools, along with solid data analysis and reporting capabilities.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and inventory management in an industrial or electronics environment.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across production, procurement, logistics, and quality teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems, make data-informed decisions, and drive process improvements under time constraints.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
  • Several years of experience in planning or operations roles within manufacturing, preferably with precision components or high-volume production.
  • Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accountability, attention to detail, and commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
