We are looking for a motivated Junior Consultant Engineer to join our team and support technical projects and client solutions.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Junior Consultant Engineer, you will assist in consulting, assessment, design, and implementation activities for data center and IT infrastructure projects. The role involves infrastructure assessments, technical documentation, solution design, capacity planning, and project delivery across areas such as data center facilities, server environments, data center infrastructure, power and cooling coordination, migration planning, and operational best practices. This position is ideal for an early-career professional who is eager to build technical expertise while gaining exposure to client-facing consulting work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Support senior consultants in delivering data center and IT infrastructure consulting projects
2. Assist in assessing client environments, including server rooms, data centers, racks, cabling, power, cooling, and network setups
3. Gather and analyze technical and operational requirements from clients
4. Help develop technical recommendations, reports, design documents, presentations, and proposals
5. Participate in site surveys, infrastructure audits, capacity reviews, and readiness assessments
6. Support the planning and documentation of data center moves, migrations, consolidations, and upgrades
7. Assist with preparation of rack layouts, equipment inventories, floor plans, and infrastructure documentation
8. Contribute to solution design for server and storage environments, data center infrastructure, power and cooling systems, backup and disaster recovery, and monitoring and operational support models.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electrical, IT, or related field
• 1–3 years’ experience in application support or technical engineering (Engineering/Technology/Data Center preferred)
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of server or data center infra (advantageous)
• Able to understand client requirements and provide technical solutions
• Willing to travel for site visits and client support
