Job Summary
The Business Administration & Clinical Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and operational support while assisting with day-to-day clinical activities. This role ensures the smooth operation of the clinic by delivering excellent customer service, maintaining accurate records, supporting healthcare professionals, coordinating appointments, and assisting with basic clinical procedures in accordance with established protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and visitors.
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and general enquiries professionally.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Process registrations, billing, payments, and receipts.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and administrative documents.
- Monitor office and medical supply inventory and place orders when required.
- Coordinate with suppliers, laboratories, and external service providers.
- Assist with clinic marketing activities, social media updates, and promotional campaigns when required.
- Support management with operational improvements and administrative projects.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant healthcare regulations.
Clinical Assistance
- Prepare consultation and treatment rooms before and after patient visits.
- Assist healthcare professionals during consultations and clinical procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following infection control standards.
- Record patient information, vital signs, and treatment details as directed.
- Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment instructions.
- Assist with specimen collection, laboratory coordination, or diagnostic procedures where applicable.
- Ensure medical equipment is clean, functional, and properly maintained.
- Dispose of clinical waste according to safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional patient care and maintain a professional, compassionate attitude.
- Address patient concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
- Build positive relationships with patients and team members.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Medical Assisting, Nursing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a healthcare, medical clinic, or administrative environment is preferred.
- Basic clinical knowledge and patient care experience are an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinic management software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
