Job Summary
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing electrical engineering projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise electrical installation works at project sites.
- Prepare project schedules, work plans, and manpower allocation.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
- Prepare project documentation, including method statements, material requests, progress reports, and site reports.
- Attend site meetings and technical discussions.
- Assist in Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities and project handover.
- Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support on site.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and company procedures.
- Monitor project costs, material usage, and site productivity.
- Report project progress, risks, and issues to the Project Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in electrical engineering or project management.
- Experience in industrial, commercial, or factory projects is an advantage.
- Able to interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Familiar with LV electrical systems, cable installation, containment systems, switchboards, or ELV systems.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Willing to travel and work at project sites.
- Possess a valid driving licence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Testing & Commissioning (T&C).
- Knowledge of ST requirements and electrical regulations.
- PW4 Certificate is an advantage.
- CIDB Green Card.
- Experience in Machine Hook-Up, Cleanroom, Industrial Electrical, or ELV projects.
