The General Manager plays a crucial role in developing and executing the site's manufacturing strategy and integral part of the Manufacturing Leadership Team.

Role:

• Responsible for site profit and loss.
• Direct, manage, and optimize the overall operations and financial performance of the plant.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for production site management to produce products at most cost-efficient manner within defined quality and safety standards ensuring on-time order fulfilment enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Determine the direction and ensure that the site meets the production goals of volume, quality, schedule adherence and effectiveness.
• Development and execution of strategic frameworks and initiatives with a sustainable continuous improvement to meet financial objectives.
• Develop, sustain, and improve standards for product quality and performance.
• Drive improvements in all related manufacturing processes, products, equipment, tools, and product quality.
• Continuous performance optimization via multiple operational levers (e.g., capacity utilization, productivity max., etc.)
• Lead the collaborative effects with supporting departments to meet the production goals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Provide leadership, motivation, and performance management.
• Ensure policies, procedures and activities are compliant with company rules, local laws, regulations, and ordinances.

Education

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent.

Key Required Experience, Skills & Ability

• Proven experience as a plant general manager or in a similar role.
• At least 10 years of experience in similar capacity / Senior Management position.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
• A solid Plant P&L leader with proven track record of leading business growth in an international organization.
