About the Role
The ideal candidate will own the entire production process. He/She will strategize with other internal teams to ensure operational excellence. The best fit candidate will also run quality assessment to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage and evaluate entire production process
- Contribute to production planning and budgeting
- Lead and monitor quality assessments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain a safe production environment
- Coordinate with key internal and external production stakeholders
- Responsible to create understanding and motivate staff to achieve the production objectives
- To review customer work order received from Sales department
- To ensure quality of Molding & Decorative process is complied with the requirements during new project development and mass production
- To monitor continuous improvement plans such as cycle time reduction, yield improvement project & etc.
- To liaise with Supplier to resolve any problem related to production machine, equipment, infrastructure & etc.
- To provide technical advice on rectification of Molding & Decorative defects
- To monitor daily production planning
- To identify training needs for all production employees
- To plan for department continual improvement activities
- To ensure compliance with legal & statutory regulation, internal, customer & QMS requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing or equivalent experience
- At least 5+ years of production experience in Plastic Injection Molding industries
Required Skills
- Strong organizational and managerial skills
