Role Description The Videographer is a full-time, on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. This role is responsible for planning, shooting, and producing video content that supports TAPiO’s branding, marketing, and client communication initiatives. Daily tasks include operating cameras and related equipment, setting up lighting and sound, capturing high-quality footage for corporate events, interviews, and promotional materials, and collaborating with the marketing and advisory teams to translate business objectives into compelling visual stories. The Videographer will also manage basic post-production tasks such as editing, color correction, and exporting videos for various digital platforms, while maintaining an organized media library and adhering to project timelines.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production, including planning, shooting, and post-production workflows.
- Candidates should possess skills in Camera Operation and handling Camera equipment safely and effectively.
- Candidates should possess skills in Lighting and Shooting Video to ensure high-quality visuals in diverse environments.
- Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic motion graphics is beneficial.
- Strong visual storytelling ability and attention to detail in framing, composition, and continuity.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and follow creative briefs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is an advantage.
