Job Title: Package Buyer (FPSO / Offshore Projects)

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Package Buyer to support FPSO and offshore engineering projects. The role is responsible for managing the complete procurement cycle of engineering packages, including supplier sourcing, qualification, commercial negotiations, and coordination with engineering and project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of engineering packages for FPSO/offshore projects.
• Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers in line with project and technical requirements.
• Prepare RFQs, evaluate commercial and technical bids, and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contractual terms.
• Issue purchase orders and monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Project Management, QA/QC, and Logistics teams throughout the procurement process.
• Expedite critical packages and resolve procurement-related issues to support project schedules.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with project specifications, contractual obligations, and company policies.
• Maintain procurement documentation and supplier performance records.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related discipline.
• Experience in procurement for FPSO, Offshore, Oil & Gas, EPC, or Marine projects.
• Strong knowledge of engineering package procurement, supplier management, and commercial negotiations.
• Familiarity with international procurement practices and contract management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple procurement packages in a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working on FPSO Topside, Offshore Platforms, or EPC projects.
• Knowledge of offshore equipment procurement, vendor qualification, and project execution.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is an advantage.
