Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Summary

You will coordinate domestic and international shipments, prepare shipping documentation, update systems, and ensure timely movement of aircraft parts. You will also support warehouse activities including inventory verification and packing to ensure accurate order fulfillment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate local and international shipments with freight forwarders, couriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of aircraft parts
  • Prepare accurate shipping documentation such as Air Waybills (AWB), commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs-related documents for compliance and smooth transit
  • Monitor shipment status and liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to resolve shipping issues promptly
  • Process and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipping documentation in the logistics system
  • Update shipment and inventory data in company systems to maintain real-time logistics information
  • Travel to the warehouse as needed to locate, verify, and retrieve aircraft parts for shipment to support operational efficiency
  • Perform physical stock verification and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies
  • Assist in packing aircraft parts following company and customer requirements to maintain shipment quality and safety
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system inventory records to uphold data integrity
  • Perform other administrative or operational duties as assigned to support logistics operations

 

 Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma or relevant logistics experience in the aviation industry
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant logistics experience

  

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience coordinating local and international shipping logistics
  • Experience preparing shipping documentation and customs paperwork
  • Knowledge of HS code classification and Singapore Customs permit declaration
  • Experience using TradeNet for customs permit declarations
  • Experience using FedEx or other courier platforms to create Air Waybills (AWBs)
  • Experience with import/export documentation and freight coordination
  • Experience in logistics administration and data entry

 

 Other Information

  • Willingness to travel between office and warehouse during workday as operational needs require
  • Physically fit to perform occasional packing, stock verification, and handling of aircraft parts
