Job Summary
Responsible for leading and coordinating daily logistics operations, including shipment planning, transportation arrangement, import/export documentation, delivery monitoring, and team coordination to ensure smooth, timely, and cost-effective logistics activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily inbound and outbound logistics activities, including local and overseas shipments.
- Coordinate shipment schedules with production, warehouse, planning, customers, suppliers, forwarders, and transporters.
- Review and ensure accuracy of shipping documents such as delivery orders, invoices, packing lists, customs forms, permits, and related import/export documents.
- Monitor shipment progress and ensure timely delivery according to customer and business requirements.
- Guide and support logistics officers or coordinators in daily task execution and documentation control.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, courier companies, transporters, and customs agents to resolve shipment or clearance issues.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, trade regulations, customs requirements, and audit standards.
- Monitor logistics costs, freight charges, transportation performance, and recommend cost-saving or process improvement actions.
- Support inventory movement, material readiness, delivery planning, and warehouse coordination.
- Prepare logistics reports, shipment tracking updates, and documentation records for management review.
- Handle escalation cases related to shipment delays, damaged goods, missing documents, delivery discrepancies, or urgent customer requests.
- Drive continuous improvement in logistics workflow, documentation accuracy, delivery efficiency, and team productivity.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, warehouse, supply chain, or import/export operations.
- Prior experience in leading a small logistics team will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of shipment arrangement, customs clearance, import/export documentation, and freight coordination.
- Able to work closely with forwarders, transporters, suppliers, customers, and internal cross-functional teams.
- Strong coordination, follow-up, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP system usage.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
