Job Description
Responsibilities
Family Group: Allied Health
Prepare aseptically compounded products (including TPN bags, chemotherapy, IV admixtures infusions, eyedrops)
Assemble medication, supplies and equipment and prepare products according to set procedures
Ensure double-checking of all prepared products before issuing from Lab
Ensure products manufactured by pharmacy follow quality control requirements
Carry out final packing of the product (including adhesion of auxillary labels)
Ensure all work areas are maintained in a clean and orderly manner
Fill up daily equipment logPerform quality control activities (including hand plate, settle plate and contact plate)
Work in compliance of the Occupational Health & Safety act and its regulations, reporting hazards and deficiencies in a timely manner
