The Opportunity

Prosegur Singapore is seeking a diligent and experienced individual to join our team as a Gallery @ Central security officer. This role is crucial in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for a prestigious gallery located in the heart of Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing security protocols, monitoring premises, and responding to any security-related incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Access Control: Manage and control access to the gallery premises, ensuring that only authorized personnel and visitors enter.
• Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the gallery and its surroundings to detect and deter any suspicious activities or security breaches.
• Monitoring: Operate and monitor CCTV systems and other security equipment to ensure comprehensive coverage and timely detection of potential threats.
• Incident Response: Respond promptly and effectively to all security alarms, emergencies, and incidents, following established procedures.
• Visitor Management: Provide assistance and information to visitors in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience.
• Asset Protection: Safeguard the gallery's collections, exhibits, and other valuable assets from theft, damage, or vandalism.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all security-related activities, incidents, and observations. Prepare reports as required.
• Liaison: Coordinate with gallery management, law enforcement, and emergency services when necessary.
• Safety Protocols: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the gallery premises.
• Emergency Procedures: Familiarize yourself with and implement emergency evacuation and containment procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a security or similar role.
• Proven experience in access control, surveillance, and incident response.
• Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other security technologies.
• Strong understanding of security protocols and procedures.
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A valid security license (or eligibility to obtain one) is required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness to perform patrol duties.
