About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Administrative Assistant to join the team at MORE CAPITAL SDN BHD. This is a full-time position based in Inanam, Sabah. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our office. You will be at the heart of our operations, managing day-to-day tasks, supporting various departments, and contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Managing general office administration, including filing, scheduling, and correspondence

  2. Answering and directing telephone calls, emails and other communication in a professional manner

  3. Organising and scheduling meetings, appointments and events for staff members

  4. Maintaining office supplies and ordering materials as needed

  5. Preparing and processing documents, reports and presentations

  6. Data entry and maintenance of office databases and records

  7. Greeting visitors and providing administrative support to reception duties

  8. Assisting with general clerical duties and ad-hoc administrative tasks as required

  9. Supporting multiple departments with their administrative requirements

  10. Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification; additional qualifications in business administration or office management would be advantageous

  2. Proven experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably 1-3 years

  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office software

  4. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively

  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus

  6. Professional and courteous demeanour, with excellent customer service skills

  7. Attention to detail and accuracy in work

  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  9. Knowledge of office management best practices and administrative procedures

  10. Reliability and punctuality
