Kelayakan

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Prior experience (1–3 years) in HR, payroll, or administrative roles is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Malaysian HR practices, statutory requirements and labour laws (Employment Act, EPF, SOCSO, etc.)
  • Strong organisational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS/payroll software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • High level of confidentiality, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Prior working experience in a startup.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-moving environment.
  • Good problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude.
  • Comfortable handling sensitive information and complex people's issues.

Tanggungjawab

A fast-growing AI technology company is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented People Operations Executive to support the growth of its engineering and commercial teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building efficient people processes, supporting employees throughout their lifecycle, and contributing to a high-performance, people-first culture.

Beyond day-to-day HR administration, you will play a key role in managing payroll, statutory compliance, employee benefits, recruitment coordination, onboarding, and employee support, while continuously improving HR systems, policies, and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Operations

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, personnel files, leave administration, and HR documentation.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee HR-related enquiries and provide timely support.
  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and maintaining HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
  • Support performance management activities, including probation reviews, employee confirmations, and annual performance appraisals.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Administer employee claims, medical benefits, and welfare programmes.
  • Coordinate employee insurance, benefit enrolments, renewals, and liaise with external service providers.
  • Maintain accurate employee benefits records and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and on schedule.
  • Compile attendance, overtime, leave, and claims data for payroll processing.
  • Manage statutory contributions and submissions, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB/LHDN, while ensuring compliance with Malaysian employment regulations.
  • Generate payslips and respond professionally to payroll-related enquiries or discrepancies.

Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, onboarding, and employee orientation.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and external recruitment agencies or job platforms to attract quality talent.
  • Maintain candidate databases and recruitment records while identifying opportunities to improve hiring efficiency and candidate experience.
