Your impact
The Security Revit Modeler is a designer/modeller responsible for independently developing, coordinating, and maintaining detailed Security BIM models for complex data center projects. The role requires strong technical understanding, proactive coordination with other disciplines, and the ability to guide junior modellers while ensuring high-quality, data-rich model delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently develop and maintain detailed Revit models for Security layouts and detailing in accordance with design requirements.
- Ensure models meet project LOD, LOI, and BIM Execution Plan requirements
- Embed accurate parameters, system data, and schedules to support engineering design, coordination, and construction.
- Own assigned Security model areas or zones and resolve typical clashes independently prior to escalation
- Coordinate proactively with architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural and ICT disciplines
- Perform regular model quality checks, ensuring compliance with BIM standards, naming conventions, and data requirements.
- Update models in line with design changes, engineering inputs, and client comments
- Prepare model outputs, drawings, and exports for design reviews and coordination meetings
- Support construction-stage modelling requirements as required.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and informal checking of work produced by junior modellers
- Share best practices and lessons learned to improve modelling consistency and efficiency.
Desired Experience & Skills
- Experience on data center or mission-critical projects.
- Familiarity with local and international codes and standards.
- Experience working in Common Data Environments and coordination tools (e.g., Navisworks).
Here's what you'll need
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering or related drafting discipline
- Preferably experience in Security BIM modelling
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong ability to interpret schematics and design intent for Security Services.
