About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and eager-to-learn HR Intern to join our team in Kempas, Johor. You will gain hands-on exposure to core HR functions including recruitment, payroll administration, employee records management, and HR documentation within the engineering and construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
- Support payroll preparation and data entry, including attendance and overtime records
- Help maintain and update employee records and HR databases in compliance with PDPA 2010
- Assist in preparing HR letters, memos, and internal documentation
- Support onboarding processes for new employees, including preparation of orientation materials
- Assist with filing and organising HR documents, both digital and physical
- Help coordinate training and development activities
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to handle confidential information responsibly
- Proactive, willing to learn, and able to work well in a team
- Able to commit to the full internship period (July – December 2026)
