Quantity Surveyor Internship

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated student to gain valuable hands-on experience in Quantity Surveying within a dynamic and supportive environment. As an intern, you will work closely with senior Quantity Surveyors and other project team members on a variety of projects, learning essential skills and contributing to the success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting Quantity Surveyors in various tasks related to tendering and project execution.
• Supporting the preparation of tender documents, including Bill of Quantities.
• Assisting in taking off quantities and preparing cost estimates.
• Conducting research and gathering information related to construction materials and costs.
• Assisting in the evaluation of tenders and sub-contractor proposals.
• Supporting the monitoring of project budgets and cost control.
• Assisting with the preparation of interim and final payment certificates.
• Observing and learning from experienced Quantity Surveyors.
• Supporting the team in maintaining project documentation and records.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying/Building or a related field.
• Strong interest in Quantity Surveying and the construction industry.
• Good understanding of construction principles and practices.
• Basic knowledge of construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Internship

Pay: RM800.00 - RM1,000.00 per month
